The North Carolina Cooperative Extension (NCCE) State Extension Conference was held October 28 – 31, 2019, at the Mariott, Crabtree in Raleigh, NC. This event was designed to foster relationships within our organization and to provide continuing education with the latest skills, developments, and technologies in order to help extension better serve our local communities across North Carolina. One of the most anticipated events of the conference was the Extension Awards Banquet, where NCCE recognized the achievements and service of outstanding employees. Through the generosity and commitment of many donors, several categories of awards were given to employees in all program areas by which Extension work may be distinguished as outstanding. We are excited to announce that several of the county agents, county extension directors, and research faculty with livestock responsibilities received prestigious NCCE awards. We are extremely proud of the hard work and effort that the livestock team members put in each and every day. Extension is not just a job, it is a lifestyle. Congratulations to all of the award winners.
