EDEN - Extension Disaster Education Network

Extension Disaster Education Network Annual Meeting Online
September 22–25, 2020

What is Annual Meeting?

EDEN’s Annual Meeting is an opportunity for extension professionals across specialties, geographic areas, and extension systems to come together and discuss disaster topics. Participants learn from one another, identify mutual needs, and establish connections that they can use when the next disaster strikes.

What is EDEN?

The Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN) is a network of extension professionals interested in disaster education and programming. Not everyone may specialize in disasters, but at one time or another, everyone has experience with a disaster. EDEN works to help make that experience easier by collaborating and sharing disaster education materials.

Why Should I Attend?

EDEN annual meeting is an opportunity to learn from peers in the field on disaster-related topics through presentations and hands-on workshops. However, just as valuable is the networking, as participants have found new resources, new partners, and started pursuing new program ideas right at Annual Meeting. To keep the value of annual meeting going year-round, consider getting further involved with EDEN by joining a committee.
For more information, visit the EDEN website or download the Annual Meeting Flyer.
