While Christmas tree farmers and ornamental nursery producers are the focus, we expect the information dispensed will be useful for many types of farmers affected by the storm.

NC State Extension experts will discuss the state of affairs and short- and long-term needs. Administrators and specialists from the U.S. labor and commerce departments, as well as USDA's Farm Service Agency, will share updates and take questions regarding department response efforts, along with programs, loans and grants available to WNC farmers.

An N.C. Department of Transportation (DOT) specialist will discuss current road conditions and the DriveNC.gov tool. The webinar will be translated into Spanish in real-time by NC State Extension personnel.
