Hurricane Michael made landfall earlier today in Florida and is quickly speeding along a track with takes it directly across North Carolina. Michael is expected to maintain Tropical Storm strength as it crosses North Carolina on Thursday. Heavy rain and strong winds are expected to accompany this storm and may cause widespread power outages. Food safety should be a primary concern if your power goes out.

Make sure that you follow these guidelines to make sure to keep your family safe from food that could cause you to become sick.
